New accessory
sguy 29/08/2010 (Sun) 17:32:23 No.34
Great you already prepared for a new uDraw tablet hardware! I have been wondering, however, how come guitar accessory is not included here at all? I think it would be cool to see also what games support guitar to play.
>>Gnac##ADMIN## 30/08/2010 (Mon) 07:40:36 No.35
Eh, there are a couple of personal reasons.

1) As a guitarist, I find the guitar controllers don't accurately reflect playing one. The games expect you to match up coloured buttons in the "frets" with coloured markers on the "strings" shown in-game, so everything is rotated 90deg, and seems totally unintuitive.

2) Too lazy to make an icon (until now).

Oh hey!

Oh, thought I may as well merge the Guitar Hero & Rock Band games with the Taiko Master games under "Drum Controller" support.

I also changed the links to each category because SEO is cool, or something.

Is this AWESOME or what! Feels almost like using a wishing well here ;-)

Guitar icon looks just great. I imagined that to have a whole guitar (pretty obviously) but you only took a grip part. Nice and works very well!

Oh nice. This game is so "under-the-radar", that there seems to be no certain release date.
>>sguy 26/08/2010 (Thu) 05:24:43 No.32
It looks like this game will be re-released by XS Games at September. Who knows if the game ID still remains the same...

Seems that long(er) posts are again refused.
>>sguy 18/08/2010 (Wed) 08:35:51 No.28
It seems to be that some (kind of) URLs are causing post refusing. It's possible to work around that problem but then need to "break" links by adding some spaces in between.

New feature request
sguy 09/08/2010 (Mon) 11:29:10 No.17
Could it be possible to add "total count" also to the title bars of "Hardware / Accessories / Services" section?

It would be easier to notice if any new games has been added if title for e.g. Balance Board games would say "Hardware / Accessories / Services - Balance Board (optional) (<b>86</b>)"
>>sguy 13/08/2010 (Fri) 21:38:14 No.21
You made it! Great!
Thanks for listening.

AWEXOME.

Information about European releases (especially Scandinavian ones) is tricky to acquire and verify, so this is a huge help.

Updated! Also:

>RLWW

>W

DAMNIT Nintendo, find a letter and stick with it. I previously had "W" pegged as "Republic of China".

R8N? and mandatory MotionPlus
sguy 11/08/2010 (Wed) 07:08:27 No.19
Hi.

I just played R8NE - The Cages: Pro Style Batting Practice *without* MotionPlus and it was fine. MotionPlus is *not* mandatory but can be selected/enabled via Menu if wanted.

Also, the cover is saying "Compatible with MotionPlus" instead of "MotionPlus required", see e.g. http://www.amazon.com/Cages-Style-Batting-Practice-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B002W5GI9S

And the official game home page does not talk anything about mandatory MotionPlus, see http://www.konami.com/games/thecages/

So, the MotionPlus is optional with this game.
